The Isle of Man’s unemployment rate has risen to 1.8% in August 2022, up marginally from 1.7% in July 2022.

According to the standard international definition, 758 people were estimated to be unemployed in the Isle of Man in August 2022. This is a marginal increase of 11 people compared to the 747 unemployed people in July 2022.

This is the fourth consecutive monthly increase in the number of people who are estimated to be unemployed in the Isle of Man, although each increase has been very small.

There are now 758 people currently unemployed in the Isle of Man, the highest number since October 2021, when there were 771 unemployed people.
