The unemployment rate in the Isle of Man has fallen to 1.8% according to new data published by the Isle of Man Government.

“It is good that few people on the Isle of Man are unable to find work, but it does mean that it is going to be hard to hire people to fill essential jobs. This offers obvious benefits for employees, but also means that employers are going to need to work harder to attract workers,” said Michael Josem of the Manx TaxPayers’ Alliance.
